Richard Branson sets kitesurfing record

There hasn't been much happening here on the kite scene with bad weather and lots of work to do (restaining & refinishing mahogany window stools for a customer).

I did run across this bit of 'old' kite news; Richard Branson's son set the record in July for the fastest crossing of the English Channel using a kite, and Richard set the record for being the oldest to cross the Channel using a kite. Not bad for a 61 year-old.

Tomorrow may prove to be a good kite day; the weather prediction calls for sunny skies, 66 degrees and NNW winds at 14 mph. I'll keep you posted.
