Yesterday was one of those days at
Wildwood Park that you'd like to go on forever. The temperature was in the low 70s, the winds were blowing out of the NNW at 7 to as much as 14 mph. It was shirtsleeve weather to be sure. Jim Stainback and I started throwing kites in the air at about 12:45, and the last kite was put away around 4:30 PM. We got nine kites into the air and then did some 2-line flying. As the afternoon progressed families began showing up with their own kites. At one point there were 13 kites in the air... I haven't seen that many in the air at Wildwood in a loooong time.
Nine kites up
And then there were ten... someone put up a small parafoil
